Description
AKA: Goldquelle Coneflower (Gold Drops) Cutleaf
Rudbeckia ‘Goldquelle’ is a summer perennial with medium green, cut foliage that is covered with fully double, bright yellow flowers on sturdy stems. Plants can form large clumps over time with a controlled spread.
Soil: Grow in rich, moist but well-drained soil that does not dry out in summer. Works well against structure such as decks and fences. May need support from summer storms if unprotected. Shallow rooted shoots can be contained with edging to discourage its spreading habit. Don’t crowd and allow airflow to discourage powdery mildew in humid summers.
